About this deal

uncompressed PCM audio option on the Blu-ray, which is missing from the DVD set, is a much better listening experience than the sound of the DVD set. Originally intended to be a theatrical feature, The Beatles: Get Back would eventually become a three-part mini-series (totaling 7 hours, 48 minutes) for the Disney+ streaming service. There are no extras on any of the discs, so us fans expecting additional / bonus material will be (slightly) disappointed about this. However - my 2 oldest granddaughters (11yo and 15yo) are *huge* fans and will possibly be watching this with me (if they've not done so already as they have Disney+ at home).

No additional bonus features have been included, although the packages do come with four photo cards (one per Beatle).I hope if you’re a Beatles fan you manage to get your hands on either the Blu-ray set (ideally) or the DVD set.

Also featured — for the first time in its entirety — is The Beatles’ last live performance as a group — the unforgettable rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row — as well as other songs and classic compositions featured on the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be. A parte questo dettaglio, la presenza integrale del leggendario ‘Rooftop concert’, rende l’acquisto di questo cofanetto imprescindibile per ogni collezionista dei Beatles che si rispetti. The boys in blue couldn't have timed it any better when they gate-crashed the Beatles in the grand finale performing 'Get Back' live ontop of the Apple building within earshot of the unsuspecting and bewildered passing trade below. Directed by Peter Jackson, The Beatles: Get Back is a three-part documentary series that takes audiences back in time to the band’s intimate recording sessions.

Another difference we see is in how many outsiders were constantly whispering in their ears, most with good intentions (we see John being warned about Allen Klein), while others more self serving. The artwork in front consists of the Beatles both in their younger years and during their final days together looking down off a balcony, which was used on their greatest hits albums. Make sure you have a good sound system on your TV because the rooftop performance at the end is brilliant. there are moments when the conversation turns a little more heated, and therein lies much of the attraction, too.

Over three episodes, Jackson looks at the making of the album, originally titled 'Get Back', taking unused footage and audio from the 1970 documentary of the same name. Musical fidelity is fine as the listener gets to hear everything form light piano keystrokes to full band rehearsals. dynamic, but the greater sense of spatial awareness plays in stark contrast to the more limited scope inside through the program's bulk.close-up the picture struggles to overcome the processing that flattens the grain and smooths out detail. If that was Peter Jackson’s intention – to make these sessions seem like you are actually here – then he achieved it well and it works for me. Disney supports streaming its content via Disney+ and in the future that looks like it will be the only game in town folks. Every week, Mike Duquette, Joe Marchese, and Randy Fairman bring you news, reviews, commentary and features on remasters, reissues, compilations and box sets.
