About this deal

But I really wanted this travel stroller for the one-hand fold (I’m traveling alone with a toddler) and recline so I decided to get it anyway, and just gate check it if airlines won’t let me take it onboard. Baby rides comfortably with multiple recline positions, a UV 50+ canopy, and a comfortable padded seat with added depth. As the buggy is such a pleasure to push, and you don’t need to grip the handle bar that hard, it’s only a minor problem, but we would both prefer it higher. The folded buggy fits onto train luggage racks, on or behind seats or even on laps, and getting on and off a busy bus is also a doddle. Airports will be a pleasure, even those that ask you to put buggies through the x-ray machine, which happened to me in France.

It does have a slightly strange seat angle but my DD has no problems with it (15 months) and it does recline well. Replicating previous Baby Jogger models, you simply push a red button, lift the handle in the middle of the seat and the Baby Jogger folds. The Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Compact Fold Stroller is the upgraded version of the City Tour stroller. The Baby Jogger Company is the original designer and manufacturer of high performance joggers and the all-terrain three-wheel stroller.

The fully featured stroller includes multiple recline positions, adjustable calf supports, UV 50+ canopies and 2 comfortable padded seats. But the City Tour firmly pitches itself at the travel market against competitors such as the Babyzen Yoyo or the Mountain Buggy Nano, boasting a folded size so small it fits into most airplane overhead lockers. I love its extendable SPF 50+ hood with added sun visor, and the buggy’s suspension and manoeuvrability mean it can take on most city surfaces. An SPF 50+ expandable protective sun canopy and padded 5-point seat harness provide excellent comfort and safety.

When you log into your account you will see a list on the left of the page with a section entitled ‘My Points and Rewards’. However, as with all of these compact folding buggies, it’s worth double-checking with the airline if you’re allowed to take them on-board, as allowances do vary – and airline staff is still getting used to the sight of travel-bag sized folded buggies. As he grows, his legs will become more supported by the foot- and lower leg rest, but for now it looks a tad uncomfortable, and he was flapping his legs about quite a bit. The all-new lightweight design fits through most standard doorways and features an ultra-compact fold, making getting around town with two easier than ever. The ultra-compact fold and auto-lock make it easy to take the City Tour™ 2 Double along with you, no matter what the day brings. Add-on accessories allow for easy customisation of the city tour™ 2 stroller so you're equipped to carry on with your day, wherever it may lead you. I found unfolding it even trickier, as you have to remember to open up the front wheels before you start pulling it into place. One quirk is that the two shoulder straps can be removed from the main fastener separately by sliding them off the two waist strap fittings.

The City Tour is aimed at children from six months to roughly three years, with the seat taking up to 15kg. Baby rides comfortably with multiple recline positions, adjustable calf support, a UV 50+ canopy, and a comfortable padded seat with added depth. Our 10 month old averaged an international flight each month, and often flying with just myself and the two kids. The buggy fits very well into its travel bag, and the rucksack-style straps make carrying very easy. A seatback mesh pocket provides additional storage, which is invaluable for quick access to water bottles, wipes, wallets and so on.You can also remove the seat cover to machine wash on cold or on a delicate cycle, and the wheels and plastic or metal parts are easy enough to wash with warm water and mild soap if you need to. When Baby Jogger approached me about this, my initial thoughts were that we definitely didn’t need another buggy. I did find the material had a few scratches after just a few days of use, but these were relatively minor and didn’t spoil the look of the pushchair too severely. The only think I would mention is that if you’re intending to go onto very bumpy or muddy ground, this probably isn’t the product for you. I love the three panel hood which comes right down over the top of the seat offering extra shade on a sunny day and contains UV 50+ protection.

Not only was it amazing for the newborn long haul flights, but for our exhausted toddler as It can recline almost flat with leg support and fits easily in the overhead compartments. Add-on accessories allow for easy customisation of the City Tour 2 Double stroller so you're equipped to carry on with your day, wherever it may lead you. Even unfolded, it sits neatly in small corners or narrow hallways, and in its bag it can go in any room in the house, tucked out of sight. There isn't a 'one size fits all,' and in future, when I'm recommending products to new parents, I'm going to make sure I remember this. Its SPF 50+ protection fabric is very handy, especially in a buggy designed for travel, and the peekaboo mesh window provides a good view of baby. Even on the bus I didn’t need to worry about it sliding about when the driver braked firmly or turned a sharp corner. I received this product for free through weeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for my open and honest review.
