About this deal

This product can expose you to chemicals including Chromium (hexavalent compounds), which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Isobutane's boiling point is about +20 so anywhere around or below freezing will render the fuel useless for your stove.

I don't think you can have numbers quite as hard as you list (at least that's how I'm interpreting what you're saying). if you can see a pot of boiling water thrown in the air that can freeze before it actually hits the ground.Another remote canister stove stand comes along with an integrated CP250 to female Lindal 7/16 NS adaptor. At the very least, I have to add a pot (and probably a lid) and a fuel canister (and probably a canister stand). Not every option out there, instead I am mostly looking at gear that I already have but have not used much in recent years for one reason or another. Here in Japan that would likely work well (usually not super cold, and lots of snow), but for visits to my native country Canada, there are times when it gets really cold but without much snow.

However, on my most recent overnight trip (4500', 35*F), the setup didn't seem to work well heating water for breakfast. I run a steel braided line off my propane canister to the jet oil since putting it on top would be very unstable due to the tall/skinny design of the 1lb propane canisters. Obviously it is less efficient in wind than when the integral MSR pot is fitted, but this set up permits me to obtain a simmer, something impossible when used with the 1lt MSR pot that slots directly to the burner. I start the stove with the canister upright, wait maybe 10 seconds while the flame heats the shunt and the heat travels down to the brass block, and then I turn the canister upside down - gently, and at low power. That said, I can still make a lighter set up with a lighter titanium pot or pan than when using the MSR Windburner pot.I mean, it was smaller than the teapot on my desk and weighed less than a pack of dry pasta in my pantry.

It has a non stick coating, so be sure to use plastic or wood utensils if you are stirring or scraping anything. There are a lot of third-party pot options that have heat exchangers though, so with the right pot this advantage can be regained. I am considering if using a single, thick copper wire, with one end coiled over the Brunton Stove Stand's fuel inlet tube works just as well in vaporizing the fuel when the gas canister is inverted. That, and the heater tab would have to take a labyrinthic path to the burner — unless sticking it between the cooking cup's heat exchanger fins is enough. The alcohol lasted two days and then we were forced to use Esbit Fuel Tablets for the remainder of the holiday weekend. The stainless steel Pot Support adapts the Jetboil burner for use with our 8 inch FluxRing Fry Pan, as well as a wide variety of traditional pots and pans.

The G-Works adapter is easier to use IMO as the knurled finish makes it easier to hand-tighten than the Kovea's polished hex shape. For a remote canister stove that can handle liquid feed gas (inverted canister type operation), this might be a nice option. Some Coleman 100% propane canisters weigh 870 g -- about 110g more than a comparable backpacking canister. My 1st generation Jetboil Personal Cooking System (PCS) has served me reliably for almost half a decade. If I'm reading the charts correctly, the vapor pressure of 100% propane at 32°F is about the same as a 30/70% propane/n-butane mix at 75°F (see e.
